The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

2 cup whole-wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup honey
2 cup water, or nut milk
2 tbsp applesauce
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisins


Directions

Combine wet ingredients. Fold dry and wet ingredients together, until
just moistened. Spoon into lightly oiled or non-stick muffin tins.
Bake at

The Atkins’ Diet
Developed by dr. robert atkins in the 1960s, the famous atkins diet achieved most of its fame during the last decade. Having many well known film stars amongst its supporters, it claims to allow weight loss whilst encouraging you to eat many of the foods you love, for example fatty meat and butter.
With this diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. It is referred to as a low carb/high protein, nutrition system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are still nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and, as a result, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and, as a result, olive oil.

The Atkins’ Diet Theory
The logic behind the popular atkins diet is that although our bodies use both fats and carbohydrates to transform into energy, it is the carbohydrates which are burned primarily. If we reduce your consumption of carbohydrates, we will burn up our fat and we will achieve weight loss. This theory is contentious, not all experts accept this as true and some even hold that it is often hazardous.
