instead of the whole egg to reduce cholesterol if desired.

Diet informationThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet system started by Dr. arthur agatston, a cardiologist from miami, usa, which encourages that one should consume "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Agatston invented his dietary regime as an aid to patients with heart conditions, based on his analysis of scientific studies completed on other nutritional studies. "good" foods include, canadian bacon, turkey bacon, shellfish, provolone cheese, pistachios, eggs and some vegatables, such as green beans, celery and snow peas. The Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition system first created by Barry Sears in a number of books and publications. The Zone diet isn’t expressly a fat reduction diet, nevertheless many people discover that they really reduce a few pounds by following it. The main theory behind the Zone Diet is that if one can manage to limit the levels of insulin and glucogen (two hormones produced naturally by your body), then your body releases eicosanoids (anti-inflamatory chemicals) which, in turn puts the body in a balanced state that is more wholesome than normal, which followers of the diet, refer to as '"he zone". Sears states that if you get into this 'zone', your body is working at its most efficient and, because of this, doesn't convert energy to unsightly fat. The most important process of the zone diet is to keep tight control over the ratio of carbs to proteins, and to ensure you get increased levels of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils. |
